Do I need an account to use ScammersCheck?
No. The core check is always free and anonymous — no signup required. An account is only needed if you want to save your check history or access the API.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Payments are processed securely — we never see your card details.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancel from your account page at any time. You keep access until the end of your current billing period.
What is the API rate limit?
Pro API subscribers can make 100 requests per hour per API key. Each request retrieves a saved website result; it does not run a new scan. A single lookup returns a 404 if the entity has not been checked on the website, while bulk lookup supports up to 50 entities.
Is there a free trial?
The free tier is effectively a permanent trial — you can run up to 10 checks per hour indefinitely without paying anything.
